IE 6 won't run, won't reinstall

Hello,

I had to replace HD, and used Ghost to transfer the image. After that, IE 6 (XP pro) does not run anymore. I tried to reinstall, no luck. Found IEeradicator - ran that, and install would start - but then would quit, saying that set-up did not have all the files it needed. But it did not say which files, and I have tried it like a dozen times....I run Netscape primarily, but I need IE for a couple of sites, and to make sure my website works ok with IE...

I do NOT have my XP Pro CD to run sfc to see if all of Windows files are there...Norton's WinDoctor says there are no registry problems - but who knows!

Anyone have a copy of IE5.5 or 5.0? Maybe that might work...

try emailing pbkermit.nodamnspam@hotmail.com
but remove the ".nodamnspam" (in blue)

pbkermit is using the anti-spamming technique of inserting a "mung" - a false string - into the email address, so any harvesters will not be able to grab his true email address.

wel the problem now is your storage limit is full, remove some emails
