IE 6 - The target "" shortcut is not valid

When I try and click on a favourite website in IE 6 I get the following message:- The target "" of this Internet Shortcut is not valid. Go to the Internet property sheet and make sure the target is correct.

Anyone got ideas on this one on how to resolve it?

Have you tried doing as the message suggests? Try right-clicking on the shortcut, getting its properites, and seeing if the target field is valid.

Never come across this error message before and could not see anything on Technet.
