IE 6 slow oppening first page 2

Hi everyone,

I've had this problem (IE slow oppening first page) for a couple of month now. (xp sp2)

When I first started IE it was always taking about 6-10 sec to open the first page, after that browsing was fine.

I've seen many forum describing this problem with many different soluton. None of those worked for me.

Yesterday I decided to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat program from v.7.0 to 7.0.9. (I was not working on my ie problem) then immediatly after I realize my IE was normal again.

One of my coleague had the same problem he did the same thing and his problem disapear.

So if you have this problem, try this and let me know

I also have a slow opening for IE, even with about:blank. After your post, I disabled the "Adobe PDF link reader" addon and... it speeds the process up. Using Reader 8.
