My system:
Windows XP Pro SP 2
Pentium M 2.00GB RAM
When I click a desktop shortcut for IE, I get 2 browser windows opening, and then they "freeze" for about 20 seconds, and then one of the windows goes to the address defined in the shortcut.
It also happens when I click a link on a web site that opens a new window or if I tupe a URL directly in the address bar.
Can anyone think of a reason why this is happening?
It started after I tried to install IE7 standalone. I uninstalled that and then started having issues with IE6. I reinstalled IE6 using the windows CD, and I also re-installed Windows.
Thanks
