IE 6 serv. pack 1 autocomplete does not work

Anyone know why my Autocomplete in IE will not work? I am using xp and have MSN installed if that matters.

First things first...is it "on."
(i.e. Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, select Autocomplete button, boxes must be checked.)

Yes it is on and I have reset permissions in my regestry under current user/software/protect...

After I did the above I am now getting the save password thing but not the autocomplete. although I will not die without it, it would be nice to have.

There's some good information here about getting rid of a possibly corrupt registry key that could be source of your problem. Let me know if this pans out, could be useful in the future....
