IE 6 problem with saving images

I have a problem that is effecting all sites I go to. When I go to save images, every image comes up wanting me to save as untitled.bmp ... even though the file is a jpg format. I am on WinXP.

I have tried clearing the cache. Deleted manually and installing WINXP SP2 and tweak some registry as recommended by some solution but doesnt work.

What is the solution???

I also realised that everytime I hit the back button on the browser tool bar, the page gets reloaded. What I mean is that it seems slower...cause it has to reload rather then pull it from memory. Hope this is clear.

Already tried.
None of the solutions work.
