Hi there!

Somehow my IE has decided when I open a new window by clicking on a link, it opens minimized.....only a small title bar shows on the desktop. If I click on the maximize it does and works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I've not used IE6 yet, but I presume it comes with the repair feature, as in 5.5. Go to add/remove programs, double click on the Internet explorer title in the box. If you see the option of Repair IE, click on that and follow the instructions.
This may well fix the problem

It's worth a try

Here's another way to set the size:

When the windows opens, drag the borders, top, right, bottom, and left to the size you want (almost filling the entire screen). DO NOT use the maximize button.

Now choose File>Close, DO NOT use the X in the top right corner. Go back to the page you just opened the new one from, choose View>Refresh and now click the link again, it should open to the size that you just closed it from.

Reset New Browser Window Size
Sometimes Internet Explorer 5 "decides" to remember the wrong size for a new window. Whatever you do, you can't seem to get it to remember a normal size.

You can fix this:

Close all instances of Internet Explorer
Start the Registry Editor
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Delete the value Window_Placement
Exit the Registry Editor
