A week ago the power went out here and corrupted my XP profile (XP Pro). I have to go to the recovery console, repair the install and then create a new profile. I copied over as much as possible but even still IE 6 (with SP1) wasn't loading some sites.

I have since uninstalled it, re-installed it and it still has some issues. Some sites it has issues with: Hotmail and the blue background on the left. Amazon, and the nav bar across the top.

It just seems to load and load and never does...anyone have some suggestions?

Is there a setpoint you can use from System Restore that predates it?
Rolling back to 1 may bring it back...also might look in Event Viewer for any clues...right click on My Computer and choose manage...for Event Viewer (thanks linney)
