IE 6 Hangs When Address Window Drop-Down is Clicked 1

hello everyone,

I have IE 6 SP2

When I try to select an old url, by clicking the drop-down arrow in the Address window .... I get the hourglass and the program goes into 'Not Responding' mode forever.

Has anyone had this problem?

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files & History. If that doesn't cure it, give the IEFix utility a shot.
