ie 6 full download 1

Hello all,
Does anyone know where i can download the full version (25 megs or whatever it is) of internet explorer 6...not the setup file which is only 479kbs!!

To download the complete installation files for Internet Explorer, do the following:

1 - Download the regular installer, iesetup.exe from:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/Top10.asp

Just in case you may want other than IE6 (V5.5 or IE6 SP1)...
Choose link for the version that you want to download.
(Note that the #6 in the filenames will vary according to the IE version you are downloading and will need to be adjusted accordingly in the filenames below.)

2 - Click Start->Run. In RunBox click Browse, navigate to the ie6setup.exe file, click open.

3 - Edit the string in the run box adding [ /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"""] to the end of the string, no brackets, however you must include the spaces and quotes.

**Example: C:\~FolderName~\ie6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"""
---When prompted, do not save the install files to the same directory as the downloaded ie6setup.exe, it will not work this way!

4 - Now click OK in RunBox, Agree to license, Choose save Dir, Select OS, DL will begin.
