IE 6 corrupted...Emergency please help

Hello I have a huge problem with IE 6..when i came in this morning and i logged in to my WIn2000 computer i got a brand new desktop and cannot access Outlook 2003..!!...if i open up IE6 and i try to change the home page for example...it goes back to the original home page..which points to msn.com but it has some weird charagers..(it doesn't jsut say (

http://www.msn.com

it add other stuff after com...)..also when i do anything on the computer i get an "your current security settings prohibit running activex controls on this page" error!! if i to go IE6 to change the settigns to low..it goes back to "HIGH! by itself""..what so going on??..please help me

What makes you think this has anything to do with IE? It sounds to me like you have an entirely different Windows user account.
