Hello:
I switched to Firefox because of popups in IE6. It works great, but when I click on on hyper link in OE6 it still brings up IE6. How do I swithc that???
Thanks Icon58

2 possible solutions.

1) Open my computer. Click on Tools then Folder Options. Click on the File Types Tab, quite close to the top you will see a setting for "{None} URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" and "{None} URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privicy". Further down you will find settings for htm and html file types. Change all of these to point to your new browser instead of IE.

2) Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults. Expand the Custom section, you should find your browser listed here, make sure it is selected and then press ok.

If Service Pack 1 or 1a is installed, use Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, and specify a non-default browser.
