Recently I came across an issue that seems to have been caused by the Content Advisor being anabled in IE browsers. Our site has nothing whatsoever that should be blocked by the Advisor (no foul language, objectionable images, etc.) but when a form is submitted (with Content Advisor enabled), the user is sent back to the home page instead of going to the page set in the <form> tag. We use only session cookies and some hidden form elements to get the user data across. We do not use ratings. Can anyone tell as to what might be the reason for this problem? Thanks.

The default setting on the "General" tab of Content Advisor for this setting is unchecked:
Users can see sites that have no rating

They must select to enable this option if you want users to be able to access Web pages that are not rated.

Note Internet Explorer supports only PICS-based ratings systems.

Why not PICS self-label your web site?

Thanks, bcastner, for the reply. Perhaps I didn't explain well. With the default setting (Content Advisor being disbaled), there is no problem using the site. The problem occurs only when the Content Advisor is enabled.

Can you explain a little more "PICS self-label"? Thanks.
