IE 6.0 wont save passwords 1

When I visit a page and have to put in my password I am prompted to save the password and I say yes the next time I come back I have to enter the info again. Also None of my pages auto-complete. The system is set to save passwords and to auto-complete but it does neither. Any ideas? Thanks Ken

Open internet Options in the tools menu and select the Privacy tab, and check to see what your privacy is set to. I use the medium setting. For auto-complete look to see what settings you have enabled in the advanced tab in internet options. Theres Use inline autocomplete for web addresses and Use inline autocomplete in windows explorer, maybe that has something to do with it. Hope this helped.

Just noticed that you mentioned that your system is already set to do what you want... what I said probably won't help then. Your system settings in control panel will be the same as the settings in your browser.

i have the same problem as kentrisha. i looked in the registry and i do not have the two entries in the hkey_users but do have them in the hkey_current_user.

can you advise what to do?
