IE 6.0: Press SpaceBar or Enter to activate and us this control

On IE 6.0, the gifs and flashes are behaving as if they're links when you hover the mouse over it with the message, “Press SpaceBar or Enter to activate and us this control”.

Is there a way to remove the behavior?

This is pretty much the same thing. Since that thread, there have been a couple security changes that have added to the behavior.

It is a little confusing. I have only flash objects on the page.
What javascripts need to be in place?

I don't know why a plain .gif would cause that behavior, but the solution is out of my league. You'd probably get a better response in forum250 or forum253.
