I use a Web based software and this generates reports in PDF format which I usually save to my computer or print out. When I pull up the pdf and send a print job to the printer IE 6.0 pulls up a pop up message saying "Send error report". You have only 2 choices here either to send error report or dont send and restart the IE browser. I have downloaded the IE 6.0 SP 1 patch and the done the automatic updates but this keeps coming up.

In the error message I do get PDF.ocx as the Module that gave the error. I am thinking this is linked to Adobe Acrobat. Please help....!!

PDF.ocx is the ActiveX portion of the Acrobat Reader.

Maybe the file is corrupted or you are using an old version of Acrobat Reader.

Reinstall/Upgrade Acrobat Reader and try again.

Worst case, you can save the file to disk and open it up using AcroRd32.exe, then print.

Re-installing with the latest version of adobe will fix the problem, I had a similar error the other day and just un-installed and re-installed. problemo goneo

Or you can bypass the pdf.ocx all together by having Acrobat Reader open the PEF file outside of the browser by turning off in Acrobat Reader "Browser Integration"

If you recently upgraded to a different version of Reader or Acrobat then the path to the PDF.OCX file may be incorrect in the registry.

The path of the file is generally kept in the registy key
