IE 5 and ADSL link

Guys,

I have a strange one. I have setup a new DSL router on a network. Its IP address has been configured correctly. It can be seen by all computers. I updated the DHCP server to give the IP address of the router as the Gateway. I can ping any address on the internet, so I know the link is up. I have removed all connectivity on IE to a proxy or a dialup, but it still tries to connect to the proxy, and then fails to go out through the DSL router. But the internet will connect through it on the server.

Strange!!!
