IE 5.5 with SMS 1.1

Can someone please help me with installing IE 5.5 with SMS 1.1. Everytime I try to push the package the start button doesn't work on the machines and our client can't access the control panel. We are intalling on NT 4.0 with SP4. Can anyone help? Please before my boss fires me and my coworker!

Sorry, I think most everyone here has or is working with SMS 2.0. I'm about to blow out(up?) IE5.5 with ver 2.0, there's a new post on the main page about it, maybe someone there can help.

thread22-105240 what I read upgrading from 1. to 2. takes some time and planning, plus it hoses your collections, packages & queries. So it's probably not an option for you at the moment anyway. Good luck.
