IE 5.5 - jpegs files

Hi,
When I open my JPEG files in IE 5.5 they are all too big for the window. I've got to use the vertical and horozontial scroll bars to view the entire picture.
Is there any setting to see the entire picture. I've heard of an image resize in v6 but I cannot upgrade just yet.
