Hi all,
We are displaying a table with about 6 - 7 rows with about 5 columns in each row. Under IE 5.0 or below, refreshing this layout appears to be fine. However, under IE 5.5 when refreshing the HTML page with this table, the column alignment jumps left and right intermediately. This is very concerning, given that the HTML appears to be fine. This situation is obviously unacceptable. I have read on another site, where a developer has also had difficulties with IE 5.5 and table alignment.
What we are looking to find an answer to the above situation is the following:
a) is this a recognised bug in IE 5.5? If so, what is the cause?
b) has anyone else out there seen this before?
c) is there a workaround available that can be made to the HTML to prevent this from happening?
Hopefully some of you have seen this, thanks for your time,
