IE 5.5 freezes on second print job from browser

Here's an issue that has been bugging me for a while now. I'm running IE 5.5 w/SP2 on a WinME system. The first IE job prints fine and I can print from any other application on the machine. The problem I'm getting is a Spool32 crash when I try to print a second job from IE, which also freezes the browser. I've checked the MS website and the Lexmark site (I'm using a Lexmark X83 printer) and found no mention of a problem.

Any ideas?
