IE 5.5 Freezes for a few seconds after entering new address & Enter

I am sure I'm not the only one who has the same problem:
Lets say i enter a new address in address line and hit enter - IE 5.5 freezes for 3 - 4 seconds before it starts to load the page. I tried to delete all the Internet temp files - no change....what do u say?
