Hi All,

Whenever I right-click on a hypertext link in IE 5.5 and select the "Open in New Window" option, my browser defaults to opening the window in a partial screen window (i.e. not maximized, but not minimized either). I always want my browser to open the new browser window in full screen mode. Is there a way to set it to default to a full screen window?

Thanks in advance.

All for now,

Don

If you rescale it, using the mouse to a (nearly) full window, that size should be kept.

DonGib:

You can force IE to open in whatever size or position you want by going to Tools>Internet Options and placing the following line as your homepage:
javascript:resizeTo(800,600);moveTo(0,0);document.location.href='yourhomepagehere'

This should all be one line - it may display wrapped on this forum.
You can change the size or location if you want.
Leave in the single quote marks - they are part of the syntax.

IE will now open full size and each time you right click and choose 'Open in New Window' it will also be full size. Pop-up windows will still be the size determined by the page source code.
