IE 5.0 keeps crashing

Whenever I attempt to open an Internet Explorer page, I receive a message stating that the page has occurred a problem, and then I cannot do anything, it crashes.

I was wondering if anyone has seen this problem.

Some more info...Its actually a friend of mine who is having the problem and must relay the informatino to me....
