IE 4.0 java script errors with NT SP 6.0

We installed NT SP6 on our server and since then we seem to be facing script errors on IE 4.0 but all is well with IE 5.0. Unfortunately we cannot have users switch to IE 5.0 since it is a corporate decision.
On one server we uninstalled SP6 and reinstalled SP5 and that fixed it.. but the same did not help on a similar box.
Any ideas......

Upgrade to SP6a. SP6 has lots of bugs.
