Hi,

Is it possible to do an HADR between IDS 7.31 on SCO Unix 5.0.5 and IDS 7.31 on Win 2000? I'm saying this because it's hard to find a box where we can install SCO Unix 5.0.5 as it is not compatible with the newer machines especially those with Pentium 4?

Hi,

One of the prerequisite for implementing High availability Data Replication (HDR) is that the operating systems on the computers that run the primary and secondary database servers must be identical.

However, Enterprise Replication(ER) is a heterogeneous replication which can work between different hardware/OS.(UNIX to NT). IDS 9.3x onwards has a new and enhanced architecture for ER.

More Info.
