Can someone explain to me how the IDR works? It has created an ISO image from my Windows 2000 CD, but how do I use this in a DR scenario?

You need to have a full Backup before running the IDR wizzard. Then you have to burn the Image onto a CD. But make sure you make this CD bootable. In a Disaster situation now, you can boot from that CD and IDR will restore your system from your last backup.
There is more detail in the manual. If you haven't got the manual, there is a pdf on the Backup Exec CD. This contains the whole manual as well.
