IDR w/Win2K and "Cannot schedule job error"

I am using IDR to restore a Win2K system on a Compaq DL580 w/ an external Compaq DLT tape drive. Everything goes well until I actually try to restore a session I immediately get an error like the following

Error: Unable to schedule Job (xxxxxxxx) where "xxxx" is a number (I forgot to take the exact info home with me). I know the tape drive works because I restored another machine using IDR. I removed the ROC "RAID on Chip" on the DL580 so the integrated SCSI would be plain ole' Ultra 2.

Within Device Manager the drive exists and everything seems OK.
