I have a netware 5.1 server and am attempting to test Backup Exec's IDR product. So far I've created a bootable cd which, according the instructions from veritas, should begin the restore process on my server. It seems to work alright until it restores the home volume definition. At this point I get the following error: Volume Managment API Failed! Error (-4) @ (1472). Can anyone shed some light on this?

Also, I did have to change the autoexec.ncf file to get it to this point. bedr.nlm would not load at all until I added a load command for "streams.nlm".

Thanks for the help,
Dorena

Hi,
How did you manage to make the CD bootable? I use the following method as indicated in Veritas website:
1) load bedr -b -a
2) Copy bedrcd.iso to a workstation and burn to CD.
But the CD won't boot.

My bedr -b -a generates a total of 27 files. Do I need to copy all the files to the CD or just the bedrcd.iso?

Thanks
