IDMS Mainframe and Cognos

Hello,

Has anybody managed to connect to the CA IDMS database running on an IBM OS/390 mainframe?? THis can be either Impromptu or Decisionstream.

Did you use middleware like Striva or did you have any other way to connect to this database ??
Any contribution is welcome !!
