Obviously theres a way to set idle timeouts for everyone attached to the server but my admin is asking if theres a way to set the timeout to a user or group level. I thought that was a really good question so I'm asking here.

Do you mean apart from the settings in User Manager for domains/Config?

This tab only appears on Terminal servers, so will not be apparent if you try to do it on a domain basis. You can configure all local users on a terminal server in this manner.

To do this on a group basis, I create users as templates for that group and assign properties to them, then simply copy them and edit as necessary when called upon to add a new user.

I hope this helps
