I am running Solaris 2.6 on a ultra 5 server (Spark System).
Whenever i leave my server idle the server stops running after a while and all users connected to it also get disconnected.
Amulya,
When the box was setup the last couple of questions ask you if you want to run in a "power saver" mode. This "power saver" mode is usually run anytime the machine has been idle for 30 minutes. If this box does not have any FCAL (Fibre Cards/ disks) attached I would boot into singer user mode and run 'sys-unconfig'. Before running this command do a 'man' on 'sys-unconfig' so you understand what files are being touched. My recommendation would be to make a copy of each file just in case. You can never be to careful esp. when your users are concerned. This will clear out almost all system information and give you the opportunity to turn the "power saver" mode off.
