I am trying to run dos program in a command prompt. It runs
but it hogs up the cpu performance. When I use a pif and move the slider in the misc tab to HIGH on the idle sensitivity it helps lower cpu usage while input is being performed at the keyboard. Problem is I can not run the pif because I want to start the program remotely using Telnet.
Is there a way to use the pif in a batch file or is there a way to set the Idle Sensitivity Globally. The Machine is dedicated to Telnet and Nothing Else. The Dos program is not an .exe It uses Cobol Runtime. It does work but cpu usage is terrible.
I am running NT 4.0 Servive pack 6.
Thanks bbconner
