IDispatch error #501 when using Copy Disks feature for Floppy

When I try to Copy Disks from floppy to floppy, I get IDispatch error #501. Its a Dell Precision 530 and the Bios version is A08. Tried to do it through Windows Explorer and My Computer. Get same error on both. Tried different brands of floppies. Still same error. Also tried to use Iomega Copy Disks feature but still same error. Looked it up on Dell Support site but nothing about this. Any advice or help is appreciated.

Am I safe in assuming win 2k as your OS?

I tried your suggestion and it still didn't work. But my coworker tried to delete the Floppy Controller in Device Manager and rebooted. When it came back, it worked. Thanks for your help anyway. Take Care.
