Hi,

just joined.

Ex-Quark 4.1 user.

I'm about to produce a one-colour job and need to know how to set up so that just the one colour is used in the output.

I'll be outputting to PDF before the file goes to the press-house is the trick in the outputting?

Forgive the green question, I'm just very used to sending a Qxd file with just the one colour in the palette (printer doesn't accept ID files but is happy to get PDF).

Many thanks in advance for any help.

If you only use one color when you design, you will only print one color. Other inks may appear in the color palette but just like Quark, they do not need to print if there is nothing in your document that uses them.

You can also specify which inks to print (or not to print) in the print dialog, just like Quark.
