Is there a way I can tell if a switch is a 11, 51 61 81 or mini remotely?
Also, on a pre rls 24 can I identify MIRAN, MIPCD, MICA, MICB and DECT cards and DECT sets remotely.

Nightmare audit coming up for a new customer.

Stay tuned, there will be more questions.

yes there is. In LD22, type ISS & you will get something like the following. Can't remmeber all the Version numbers but I'm sure you can find it in the NTPs

REQ iss

VERSION 2911 - this is Opt61c
RELEASE 25
ISSUE 40 B

REQ iss

MAIN CAB
VERSION 2111 - this is an Opt11c
RELEASE 25
ISSUE 40 B

If you go to LD22 and type ISS, the system will give you the type of switch IE 2911, 2111, 3011 etc. Go to the NTPs and look up what each one is. I dont remember them all. You can go to LD 32 and do an IDC on the cards in each loop and ID them that way. It will give you the NT number of the card for that loop shelf and slot. To bad you dont have LD 117 card inventory in pre Release 24

I just found this

LD 22 and type ISS to find system CP type.
2111 = Option 11C
1911 = 81/81C CP2
2211 = 51C CP2
2311 = 61C CP2
2411 = 51C CP3
2511 = 61C CP3
2611 = 81C CP3
2811 = 51C CP4
2911 = 61C CP4
3011 = 81C CP4
3311 = 81C CPP
