Good Morning,

I am using Crystal Reports 10 on SQL Server. I've been asked to find all reports using a particular field (table.userfld2).

Is there a way for me to find all such reports?

Thanks,
D Lee

The only way I can think of other than manually opening each report would be to write a program using the SDK. The program would have to open each report, see if the table where the field is located is included in the report, and then walk through the sections to see if the field is used on the report.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Thanks Dell. I'm not sure how to do that in the SDK. Opening each report and checking individually now.

Thanks again!

If you don't mind spending money there are 3rd party tools that can do that on my LINKS page.

Look under the documentation utilities. I think 3 of them will do this but you should confirm before you buy:

Report Analyzer
