can an M2317 EVER be IDU'd? All the attorneys in my firm have them and the command never works (always get NPR501). is it just me or is this never possible? It works fine for the M2616s.

I think that command is only good for Modular sets (2006, 2008, 2016, 2216, & 2616)

so if I am trying to check whether there's a 2317 plugged into a jack (for a remote location) is there any way to do that?

If you stat the card it will tell you what is programmed for that port and if it shows it as IDLE then it probably has a phone on it. Good luck

the ports always show IDLE when I stat them individually. But when i try to see if there's an actual phone set i always get NPR501. i guess there's no way to tell if an M2317 is in a jack. thanks anyway.

Try LD 20
REQ: PRT
TYPE: TNB
TN: tn number
then just return until finished

i don't thinking printing a TNB is going to show me whether the JACK has a 2317 in it. I'm not looking to see if the TN is programmed. I'm trying to remotely tell whether there is a physical 2317 set in a jack. thank you.
