An interesting question arose today, for which I have no answer.
We add leads in large numbers to our database, which are then picked by salespersons as they need new leads. It is clear that, as they make calls, they should track the sales stage in the Opportunity tag.
The question posed was, "How do we know who hasn't been called at all?" Put another way, how can we identify leads for whom no opportunity has been created?
If, upon import of the leads, a sales opportunity with sales stage "New Opportunity" could be created, this would become fairly straightforward. Is there a way to do this?
Or, is there a better way to filter or otherwise identify leads that have not been contacted at all?
I can't imagine that we're the only guys trying to deal with this...any help appreciated.
