Identifying active Upfront / IWR reports

Hello all. I've just taken on the task of migrating a large number of IWR entries from Upfront to Reportnet. I'm told that lots of the reports are no longer needed but ideally I'd like to identify (automatically) which entries have been used over the past 3 months and tie them back to the source Impromptu reports.

Any suggestions? I doubt I'm the first one to face this issue. 'Ask the users' is not an option, there are globally thousands of them.

We're also asking Cognos for suggestions...
