Identify Orginal Table Name 1

Is there a way to use Crystal Reports (or any other application) to get back to the actual table name rather than the alias?

Presuming you mean the alias inside of crystal, go to your database menu, set datasource location, expand the tree or trees. If you want to change the alias that's done from database/database expert with an F2 key.

Common issue.

You can also run database, show sql query and that will show you exactly what is being sent to the server. That includes the real name and the alias.
