Any recommendation as to how I might be able to identify patients that have returned to the OR on the SAME DAY that they had another procedure. Thus far, I am able to identify any patient, say, in the timeframe of a year, that had more than one procedure. That is, the report shows all case/surgical dates in a given year for each patient. I then do a count on patient name to display only those patients with counts gretar than one. However, I would like to identify only patients in the OR, on two separate occasions, on the SAME DAY. It happens infrequently - perhaps 10 to 20 times per year. I am using Crystal 8.0.

It's a little unclear what you want your end result to be. If you want your report ONLY to show those patients with two OR visits on the same day, then insert a group on {table.date} and choose "for each day". I'm assuming that this group is an inner group, with an outer group on patient. Then you can go to report->edit selection formula->GROUP and enter:

count({table.date},{table.date}) > 1

Perfect. Works as per your suggestion. Thanks LB for understanding and providing a solution for something I was unable to articulate very clearly.
