Hi there.

We have a compnaion system on a Meridian 1 Option 11c release 23.55. We have about 12 companion cells, and various 3050 and 3060 companion handsets.

How can I identify what type of companion card we have in the switch and what kind of companion system we have? We're looking to get some new handsets, and I think this info would be necessary. Plus, our telco rep says we need to get a new companion system. I want to double check that.

Thanks

Jordon

Nortel has discontinued the Companion product. I dont know about getting a new system. You can ID the card by printing the DNB of one of the handsets. The card it is programed on is the slot that you companion card is located in. There is only on kind of Companion system although the software level is sometimes different.
