We have at least 2 extensions we cannot duplicate in CM6 (getting the error noted in the subject line). Have compared them to other stations we can duplicate and see no differences. Have status'd the stations, etc. but see nothing obvious. Thoughts what could be causing this?

Example - x136231 - want to duplicate it for 136195 - the above error comes up

Example - x136387 - want to duplicate it for 136195 - works (removed it and tried the other one again - same error)

More - just noticed in the history log by the failed attempts "denied - 10002" - looking for description but if anyone has an idea...

That is software corruption.

It could also mean that some programming you are trying to add to the duplicated station is
previously assigned (like the port)

Thanks. Turns out there is a known issue on 9641G phone firmware 6.2 - see below:

"Unable to duplicate station when SBM24 button 11th or 12th is customised" Doc ID: SOLN217394
Version: 1.0
Status: Published
Published date: 27 Dec 2012
Author: Ruel Alagao

DETAILS
Unable to duplicate station 2931
CM Reports as: R015x.02.1.016.4
CM Release String: S8800-015-02.1.016.4
Patch 19751
9641G phone fw 6.2 SP2

Unable to duplicate station when button label 11 was customized. We are getting error message "identifier previously assigned, please select another". But if customized label was removed, everything is working fine.

I'm looking to get greater detail on what document this information came from. I can't seem to find it or any PCN's or PSN's on the subject. We came across this issue last night and I tested it until and after I found this posting. could you link the actual document to this thread please?
