IDE components sections greyed out

Hi,
All of tool bars in my Visual Studio.net IDE are greyed out except for 'Device Controls'. I have tried selecting the tools I needed using the Toolbars menu on the view menu bar. When I open the customize menu from Toolbars menu, all the tool bars appear and when I close the customize menu, the tool bars gets greyed out. Any help would be appreciated.

I should add that i am using Visual Studio .Net 2003
