Hi

I am integrating a CS1K-E with a Mitel 3300 over DPNSS. The problem I am facing is wrt to International dialling from the Mitel 3300. The PSTN trunks are terminated on the CS1KE.

From the traces I can see that the called number is received in two parts. The CS1KE seems to start dailling once the first set of numbers hav been received without waiting for the remainder of the digits,

DPO R 63 2 5 NAM *3*1 4#*167*48501*1*28#
DPI R 63 2 5 CRM 30
DPO R 63 2 0 CIM 30

Is there some config on the CS1K that needs changing? I have expanded the SPNs to 4 digits eg 0011, 0012 and so on.

Here is the RDB and TNB for the trunks,

Can any of the DPNSS experts on this forum please help me out here?

I have got a little further in the troubleshooting and confirmation that the CS1K is not waiting for all the digits before outpulsing,

Please assist.

NO idea about these systems, but is Overlapped DNIS enabled?

Most people spend their time on the "urgent" rather than on the "important."

Managed to fix it myself.

Problem was caused as FLEN in the SPN was set to 0 to allow any number fo digits to be allowed (this worked fine for extns). With this setting the CS1K would assume that it has got all digits in the first message over the DPNSS.

Once I set the FLEN to 16, it started to wait for 16 digits or the EOD "#". Once this started happening it would allow the last few digits or a # to be recieved before beginning outpulse, fixing the issue.
