IDCS4 changes

IDCS4.
Don't know why the command bar was removed. Can't also seem to know why the copy File Info for picture captions typed from Photoshop as in previous Indd versions is disabled. I feel like I am an Indy newbie....this has totally slowed down my work.
CAN SOMEONE help me get a plug in to rectify the above problem?
