I recently rebuilt a W2K Server with SQL 2000. Restored the Databases successfully.
I have an issue though within the applciation b/c the initial Network Admin has left the company. We have users logging into an applciation that connects to the SQL databases through the ODBC connections. So each user has the ODBC connections configured. When the are logged in to the app from their workstation, they need to be able to click on a link on the main page of the app which pulls up the customer info from the SQL databses (in browser format). The error they receive is:
unable to open Cannot download the information requested.
How do I fix this? I am not familiar with VB scripting. Did I miss something in the re-install that I need to install or enable? I checked the permissions of the odbc32.dll file and gave everyone full control of the windows/system32 folder.
