Hello

I don't have place to test it maybe someone could help...
There is IDC table to translate incoming digits. How it reacts with INST parameter at Rout Data Block configuration. Which one is implementet to incoming digits as first one?

Lis

yes I can configure IDC tables in ld 49 (IDGT) then bound it with Route

not sure what you are saying IDGT is incoming digit conversion.. the i/c routes have a DCNO ( digit conversion number on them, if you print your routes you can see what DCNO they use....( if any) in LD 21 RDB

Colin

Yes of course... let see my rout looks like that
ROUT x
IDC YES
DCNO 3 *
...
INST 2

My question is which modification is first applied IDC with DCNO 3 or INST 2?

i have checked my routes and i do not have anything set against INST. so i cannot help you there,, i will check around as soon as i can

Colin

Had this from a friend.... The INST is used to insert digits onto a dialled in line it is not normally used on DDI/DID routes
a more common use would be to insert routing digits onto Tie line calls.
The IDC tables are used to convert i/c dialled DDI/DID numbers and are associated to the routes with
the DCNO and NDNO prompts
