ID/Status hit to lead

I'm trying to change all my ID/Status hit to lead.
I can do it by hand but have 1000+ contacts.
Is there an automated way to do this?

Hello SBENS,
There is a "Replace" command available to do what you are wanting to do.

1. Do a "Lookup" for the records you want to replace
2. "Edit" select "Replace"
3. Your layout will go blank as you are able to "Replace" many fields at the same time
4. Change the ID/Status field to whatever value you need
5. The 3rd button from the Left on the toolbar should be "Apply the Specified Field Changes" click on it

**** Warning *****
This "Replace" cannot be undone!! So, be very sure you have a recent backup to restore from if things mess up
